"Designer Babies" (in a nutshell) are genetically altered fertilized eggs. The process was part of a clinic that used PGD (pre-implantation genetic diagnosis) to select the sex of a baby and earlier yet to screen for diseases.
But now scientists are working on a technology that they believe will be in a larger use in 10-15 years: selecting the traits for a baby. Traits such as eye color, height, weight, hair color, and even personality traits like natural musician or buff athlete. So the question is... Is designing a child ethical?
