The last vegetarian I ate was wonderful... But tasted like sweet corn.. she saved the cob for later.. Have always said the sweetest meat is close to the bone.. And she agree with me.

I was living in vegan land (Crested Butte CO) back in the 80's when I started to read some of Carlos Castaneda books like The Teachings of Don Juan and A Separate Reality. In the books Don Juan is the Medicine Man that teaches Carlos all his stuff and in the teachings Don says you must tell the plants you are sorry for killing them and thank them for the help they give you. SO Plants feel too. I used ask vegans if the told the plants the were sorry for killing them. None of them got it.

I was meatless for a while but I like meat. I think I will cook some now.

There is a big difference between cutting grass and cutting the necks of chickens. Killing plants and animals is certainly not the same.

also it's a bit harder to get all the proteins you need to help supplement your diet if you go vegan. but that doesn't mean you should only eat meat, we are omnivores.

I personally don't care if someone is a vegetarian or any other variation. I am an omnivore I love my meat. What pisses the crap out of me is the endless lecturing by vegetarians that think their on some sore of holy crusade. Stop picketing McDonalds, KFC or any other place you don't like and stop trying to shove your view down my throat. I don't give a crap. I have and always will eat meat. Deal with it.

I don't hate. I am only offended by the minority who think because they only eat plants, I must do the same.

Much like you are offended by the carnivores who expect you to live by their rules.

Being a vegetarian is not always about being humane. Many people are vegetarians simply because it is so much more healthy. Although those who do it for humane reasons eat plants because it is a last resort. Plants I not feel the same pain as mammals, amphibians, fish, and reptiles.
