Day 9 of being homeless

Anthony Souls 2012/08/08 16:35:14
Thoughts and summaries:

Submitted residential history for program
Waiting on background check for program
Have a job interview (YAY: Full time and good pay!)
Need to do volunteer work (4 hours, maybe)
Shelter is overcrowded with families (totally full women's dorm (mostly families))
Want to get some food to eat
Need to get clothes for the job interview which is free
Need to use the restroom (lol)
Got my fiancee ointment for her sunburn to help it heal (no sunblock still)

There you go: on day 9 of being homeless and things are looking up through God's Help and Love. :)

Take care,
You!

I was homeless 9 years ago for about 5 mouths. Keep your head up, things do get better.

Thanks, it's Friday. Whew, the thrift shop work was really hard on my disabilities. You just sort nothing but clothes for 4 hours and bring them down. It wasn't really that heavy, but it really messed with me. Hopefully my body can make it without it falling apart... No one takes my disabilities seriously save my fiancee.

Thanks, I hope I get it too. It's actually work that I'm able to do, unless this homeless recruit force which is like slave labor... It's like a sweat shop up there :P

    Take care,

Both of you are in my prayers. Good luck with the job interview. Please let us know (if you can) how it goes. God Bless.

Thanks, the shelter we are staying at has a thrift store and they are going to give 3 pairs of clothing for the voluntary work we are to do.

I haven't gotten the job yet, but if I do (hopefully), I will be making enough to get back onto my feet with my fiancee and afford some form of housing.

    Thanks, Take care,
