Tea Turalija discovered she belonged to a secret Catholic cult that developed when the Ottoman Empire occupied Bosnia. The cult members identified each other by tattooing their hands and arms using a compound ink made up, in part, of human breast milk.

The communists took over Yugoslavia after World War II and forced the end of practicing Catholicism. Ms. Turalija met some Pacific Islanders, who have a long history of full-body tattoos. Good for her she looks great, why not? She's old and ugly and wrinkly anyway, with or without tattoos. Do people think they will not grow ugly and wrinkly over time if they don't get tattoos?

How is that a disgusting ageist comment? I have nothing against old people. They were young like me once and (if I live long enough and am not murdered by some crazy, over-emotional, vainly self-righteous lunatic like you) then I too will grow old, ugly and wrinkly. It happens to everyone. By the time you get to 70 or 80, I think it shows shallowness of character to still be obsessed with beauty at that age. There are more important things in life than simply looking attractive. How can you be offended by that? It is not discriminating, it will happen to everyone. And then when we die our bodies will rot in the earth, or will melt and explode in cremation ovens. You cannot be beautiful forever, everyone who wants to live a fulfilling and meaningful life should accept this.

As far as she is happy with it. Personally, I don't like tatoos and neither piercings, and I would rather recommend temporary tatoos with henna for those who like it. But I would not judge people for their tatoos; after all it is their body!

These women were young once, and so will others that have tattoos now, will look one day. So why the discrimination against grandmas for having tattoos? Because they are old?
I personally don't have any, but I wouldn't discriminate against the grannies either...

I have never understood why beauiful women everywhere would want graffetti on their bodies. I wouldn't spray paint a $12,000 dollar paint job on a 1969 camaro/ 1965 vette......women are not cars, I know this, but I'm just saying.

A few tattoos are okay, but not a whole arm's worth of them. Especially ones with color, since the color of skin tends to alter the color of the ink.
