I know I could, but I'm anaemic so it's hard for me to go without meat sometimes because I start feeling very faint and weak.

It's a silly question. Of course you could SURVIVE without meat. The question is: "Would you want to?" I fully embrace my inner carnivore. But I do not have anything against vegetarians as long as they respect that I eat what I want, and they eat what they want. Kumbaya!

Yess I used to not eat meat and I still don't that much just occasionally chicken but moree of a friut and veggie person I could survive on that:)

I just tried that for three weeks. Salad and veggies and fruit. Then the muscles in my back gave out at work. I went home and ate a steak. All better the next day.

Yes really. A couple of days later I heard a scientist on the radio say that vegans suffer more muscle tears when they excersise. You must realize though that my work is very hard. If I was an office worker it wouldn't have hurt me.
