Some with marginal land who couldn't grow vegetables might, others would probably switch to raising sheep for wool or something like that. Farmers grow what they can sell, so most would probably switch to growing other types of food.

That's true, my BF's family owns farms. Fruit orchards, animals, veggies, it works because if one falls short the other picks up for it.

XD-I think a cow would rather never be born than to be taken to slaughter or have its young taken away. Do you really think the species would know if it was extinct?

Well for others probably, but not me, OMG, i'm like completely omnivore and it's REALLY hard for me to become vegetarian, meat is really delicious to me and for me, I would definently die without my meat.

Did it when I was a kid and when I was first on my own. Found out my son had a milk allergy and a peanut sensitivity and had to bring the meat back into our diet to make sure he got all his proteins. That was a very unhappy time.. I was so sick...

Now, I'm not sure if i could do it again as easily.. Vegan Bacon just doesn't taste right and I love my bacon.

Health benefits, decreased food cost, preventing antibiotic resistance, reduced greenhouse gases, reduced water consumption, reduced risk of cancer, reduced reliance on fossil fuels. Just to name a few reasons.

Top of the food chain, I eat what I kill so I have already decreased my food cost, eating as many cows as I can help with greenhouse, went to the Doctor last week perfect health, transportation biggest reliance biggest reliance on fossil fuels, smoked for 40 years quit no cancer, so, see ya

Yes. I never liked meat. Not even as a child. I will now eat chicken and fish, but I never eat red meat. I just don't like it. Yuck!
