We raised our kids without any superstitions like religion. But they did know about them. My daughter ended up a christian by superstition , my son an Atheist by intelligence. Love my daughter dearly but we raised her better than to believe in myths and superstitions. But as an adult it was her choice

I don't have a religion, but my daughter is exposed to my husband and our families' different beliefs. I'm hoping to remain neutral on the issue and let her figure out what she believes on her own with minimal indoctrination by others.

I feel my children should believe what they want to believe. I will of course recommend my beliefs but never force them.

I brought mine up without any religion, churches or other such activities and they were free to choose whatever they wanted if they wanted to. Funny thing, they chose none and see no use in it.

I don't have a religion, but if i overcame one, then if they're anything like me, they will too. If they stick with the religion, their choice.
Of course, i plan to avoid having children...

That is my daughters choice and I am an atheist so I don't have any huge qualms with religion, besides not believing it. But if she finds comfort and truth in it I'm all for it for her.

I'm raised by christians but i am open to the idea of raising my future children without religion. Agnostic. I would still follow some christian traditions though.

My kids father wanted them to be brought up in his religion, which was atheist. Altho sometimes I wondered, I wanted them to know what I felt..so when I could I took them to church, and taught them what I had learned, then told them, that like anything else it was their decision to make. Everyone thought I was wrong and maybe I was, but nothing was forced on my kids.

I personally don't believe in god either but since the rest of my family is catholic, I don't believe you deserved to be reprimanded for doing something you believe important for your children. They're your children too.

It's not my choice to choose someone else's religion, thats so personal you can't just force someone to be that religion. Although plenty of people do that. I wouldn't care what my kid believed in, and I would reinforce what they choose.

I'm agnostic, but if my children choose to practice a religion, I'd be fine with that. I'm going to let them make their own choices about what they want to believe.
