Con artists add to woes of grieving Calif. family. Should con artists who victimize families who lost a loved one face stiffer criminal penalties than other con artists?

TheTruth1313 2012/09/23 05:41:02NO [tell us why you think not].+3I do understand the sentiment here, but, to create a harsher penalty because of other circumstances would be akin to the hate crime laws of to which I am vehemently opposed. However, you could always add a charge of depraved indifference or something along those lines.





















1. To rip off a donation box .. LOWER than low .. (just sickening)
2. but to take advantage of the Elderly .. and rip of a Grandma .. that's even worse ..
I do hope that both face the bar of justice .. and get the stiffest penalties that can be applied.
