I think my doc gave me that cough syrup on purpose, and I commend him. I'm pretty sure he figured out that unless he found a way to knock me out I wouldn't sit still long enough to get well.

Huh. That stinker. But the sleep is great.

I was on codeine for a broken heel once and didn't poop for two weeks.. I hope it won't do that to you.

I wish I had a bottle of codeine cough syrup. I would drink all of it at once if it had no acetaminophen or other drugs in it.

Yeah, well, I do not do too well on any pain meds -- Demerol makes me goofy. Can't take anything narcotic at all.

You should also know it can slow the intestines down and cause constipation. Sorry yo be so crude but thought i would warn you so you don't have that discomfort.
