Like mother, like daughter. Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia Gerber is following in her supermodel mom's footsteps, making her modeling debut at the age of 10, The Daily Mail reports. And the apple really doesn't fall far from the tree. Kaia is posing in the first Young Versace ad; her mom was Versace's muse in the 90s.

"I'm so thrilled that Kaia was chosen to be part of the first Young Versace Campaign," Crawford said in a press release. "I have so many fond memories of the times I spent with Gianni and Donatella. There is something so very special about the House of Versace." She added that she was on site during Kaia's shoot, which she described as a "fantastic experience."

"I am so proud of her," she said. Donatella Versace, the label's creative director, was also impressed. "Like her mother, Kaia has a very special gift. The camera really, really loves her. Having Cindy on-set for the shoot took me back to all the amazing Avedon shoots we worked on together. It was such a special treat watching Kaia walk in her mother's footsteps!"

Kaia is the daughter of Crawford and business mogul Rande Gerber. She's certainly cute, but will she grow up to be the pop culture sensation that her mom was?

It's really impossible to tell. She's got her Mom's face. And, she's definitely gonna have the inside track. Those are big advantages.

But, Julian Lennon had similar advantages and he didn't have 1/10th the success his father did.

She looks cute and is good enough for cover girl material...with the right connections. I just dropped in here before I realized she is ten. I guess she following the path of other models. Brooke Shields started around age ten. But it did take me by surprise.

Honestly, I don't know, but I think ten years old is a little young for risque modeling. As long as she is not put into the position of wearing insulting clothing, then fine. She's a pretty girl and I wish her well.

Try using a photo that wasn't created on Photoshop next time. Even the untrained eye can tell her face was a cut-and-paste job in this specific photo. No soup for you!
