well.....gods probably not a respector of persons.....he's a spirit eh? mocking someone means basically to copy someone..... some say that it means making fun of.....but how can you make fun of a spirit? how say you?

Yes - it is true, we are NOT to mock God. But if we leave that tiny lil bit of the verse hanging/dangling all by itself - like some people do; then the whole concept of the verse is lost. The whole verse, in its entirety SHOULD be read as follows; "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
Now - doesn't that sound much, much better than just - "God can't be mocked"?
I thought so!
King James Version (KJV)
1The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
2The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
3They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
And I thought imitation was the sincerest form of flattery.
I could go on (and on and on).
If you want to understand God read Job in The Bible. Or Read about the Tower Of Babel.
God cannot be mocked! It is an impossibility, one may think they can ~ but it is only finite perspective.
This is the land of Second Chance aka; entropy ` we must deal with Nature And God while we are here.
First your born, then you die, have a nice day!! :O)
But choose wisely!
It is said, God made man in his own image.
Oh well, Can't think of everything, even if your a God.......
Oh well, Can't think of everything, even if your a God......."
One of many perfect examples of - " Mocking God",, if u r a Christian!
(Basically the whole thing means you should not be prideful. Give God the the glory when someone praises you or when you do good. Do not think that you could do anything good or gain anything profitable in life without God giving it, or providing it, to you./ In claiming glory for yourself alone and being short sighted you and only you are responsible for anything you do and it's outcome. ) See also
