Especially the homemade kind from my local food store, where the just put organic peanuts in a machine grinder, and out comes fresh made peanut butter; just peanuts, nothing else!!!
I like chunky, but the wife hates it. Thank God these are the only kind of problems my wife and I have. So we have chunky and creamy PB in the house! You forgot the jelly. My wife likes jam, and I like jelly. I think we have a food problem here! haha
I am not a food health nut and I love peanut butter, both kinds. However, as of this date, Skippy (the illustrations) contains hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oil (trans fat) , which has been totally banned in many countries for years because, IN ANY AMOUNT, there is a direct link to it and heart attacks.
Just because the label reads , "0 Trans Fat" per serving ... that's anything less a half gram per serving... doesn't mean that it is not dangerous. Read the ingredients. If it has any trans fat at all, don't buy it, especially if you or anyone who is going to eat it, has a heart condition.....that is unless you wish to clog your arteries.
Oh yes. Now some manufacturers of processed foods are starting to refer to hydrogenated oil and partially hydrogenated oil as "vegetable shortening."
and there is nothing wrong with that! :D
im not a fan of the chunky ones, like the chunky one of jif
it hurts my mouth 0.o
