The Chrysler 300C is among many cars the company is offering new incentives on in an effort to spur sales. The struggling automaker Chrysler announced May 6, 2009 that new models like the Chrysler 300c, Dodge Charger, and Jeep cars start at $6,000. This is insane! Three years ago in 2006, a brand new Chrysler 300c will start at $30,000 and now they cost 6,000? Chrysler is selling new cars as cheap as KIA!!

Back in the 1960's when the companies used union labor, you could buy a new car for $3,000. I think the car companies have priced themselfs out of business.

Here we go again, they plan on building them overseas. Cute, we import and now we should import one of our own? I own an import and it's alot better looking than the ugly Chrysler, who ever designed it lately may well have caused the collapse.

Moving iron is the prime concern of this American standard. We'd be hard pressed to find any conversation of price points on these products without mention of the need to move inventory. They make a good product, they're just butt ugly.

Don't do it, man. That's just not cool.
I do like that they are making them cheaper though.

Now that they are in bankruptcy, they need to do something to move some inventory. I think that better days are ahead for Chrysler. Hopefully, the existing union contracts can be renegotiated to make them competitive again.

And I hope when they hire a new CEO his wages are set so that the company can compete also.

Because Kia has more cars that fit my code http://www.sodahead.com/blog/... than Chrysler does. Comparing Chrysler to Kia would be an insult to Kia.

It's an only an insult to Kia, in your perspective. To most anyone else, it's a major insult to Chrysler.

I disagree. Chrysler is a terrible product. I have had too many Chryslers that just keep having problem after problem and eat me at of house and home. They are an EXPENSIVE product. Their parts are not built to last.
