I have a chronic renal failure.
Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS)
loss of renal function.
Kidney transplantation or renal transplantation
depending on the source of the recipient organ Living-donor,
renal transplants are furthering my chance to live again.
I look at my life as it was on death row.
I'm a father of three with passion to live.
I would like to ask someone for a second chance
please give from the heart,That's all i ask.

I used to be a registered organ donor and would have given one of my kidneys to anyone who needed it and I was a match for the, But 40 months ago I had cancer of the kidneys, baldder and eurethra (was told I wouldn't live more than 4 months even after surgery!). I've been cancer-free for 40 months and counting, but can't even donate blood until I've been cancer-free for 6 years! OTHERWISE, I WOULD DONATE IF I WERE A MATCH!

Only because I can't! I had to have a liver transplant and came close to also having a kidney transplant. My kidneys are damaged but they did improve after the surgery. Have you hear of a drug called Aranesp? Have you been in touch with the national transplant association through your hospital?

I was a regular blood and platelet donor for years in N.Y.. Donating platelets is a proceedure that takes at least 2 hours. The platelets are seperated from red and white blood cells, the red cells are put back into your body. You have a needle in each arm vein. The platelets were needed for lukemia victims and such. I did this once a month. I had a very high platelet count. When I had an unexpected blood transfusion in 1993, the foreign blood caused my white cell count to get very strong. The blood bank told me I could not give blood, it could kill a weak, sick person. They did have a way to filter the blood. This is not aides. Fighting foreign blood made my immune system stronger. Sometimes I am afraid my own white blood cells will attack my own body. I was also on a organ donor list. I would be willing to help you but would not have the money to travel where you are. We would have to be a match. I am 62. As last tested my kidneys are in good shape. You have to give me more information on what would be required of me. I was a donor while living in N.Y., that was many years ago.
