I enjoy Christmas parties more. New Years Eve parties always end with everyone drunk, fighting, throwing up or being passed out under a table. Not my idea of a good time.

I don't go to parties on Christmas, so the party on NYE is better, but I prefer Christmas.

I have to do the catering on Christmas Day, so I can't really let myself go on Christmas Eve.
I also have to do it on New Years Day, but people really don't mind so much if things are a little disorganised on New Years Day.

Our poker party that our neighbors have hosted for the last forty years. Lots of food and the same box of pennies we have used for all those years. Apparently we don't win or lose LOL.Good times!!!

New Years Eve is my anniversary since that's when my beloved soul mate and I met. And we don't do Xmas anyway since we're Jewish. Happy Chanukkah, Fef.

I don't drink so it's a different thing for me, but I have a great time at both.
I don't need help to act a little stupid but I like to think clearly at some parties.

It's up to the individual. Being a family man, Christmas for me is not about partying. It's about quality time with those I care most about. But of course, I might feel very differently if I were 40 years younger, unmarried, and had no kids and grand kids to enjoy watching as tehy unwrap their presents.

I think it depends on your definition of party, if your definition is focusing on yourself, drinking and more then it would be New Years Eve. If the best party is being with family and friends, wanting to do something special for others and focusing on the greatest gift given to man then it is Christmas. For me Christmas is the better party.

Christmas Eve is spent with your children, family. New Years Eve is a chance to let your hair down and party with your friends.

Christmas is usually all about family and very close friends where as New Years Eve is serious party time with everyone included; family, close friends, regular friends and acquaintences.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

I wanna say New Years Eve. But I've always had a better time at the Christmas party. I think it's all the gift giving...and receiving. It's not a big deal that I have go out and buy a new Garfield Calender. And besides, New Year's Eve has degenerated into just another excuse to get completely turdfaced. I'm not down with that.
