To make the world's best pizza you'll need dough, mozzarella cheese and some top shelf tequila.

On Thursday, top pizza-makers from around the globe competed for the title of "World's Best Pizza" at the International Pizza Expoin Las Vegas.

This year's big winner was anything but traditional. The "Tropical Pie" - a blend melted asiago and mozzarella cheese, topped with shrimps, thinly sliced and twisted limes, a fresh mango salsa, all resting on a rich pineapple cream sauce infused with Patron.
The recipe, devised by mad pizza scientist Andrew Scudera of Goodfella's Brick Oven Pizzain Staten Island, was months in the making.

No, you silly! I couldn't exactly pick off the "pineapple cream sauce infused with Patron", but I doubt there's enough tequila in there to get a buzz.........

looks like an explosion of ass.

and pretty sure the top of the pineapple on the pizza isn't edible. every thing on a pizza has to be edible!

my issue is the extreme amount of garnishes, the limes(with the skin on them btw) what looks like basil leaves or something(idk) and the stupid pineable head make it kinda idiotic.

it's B.S. because it wasn't judged by anyone who actually eats pizza other than during a competition.....
