My first really bad experience with cancer was when I was told my mom had it. That was in April 1988. She lived long enough to be at my wedding in July 1988 and then to know about the birth of my first child in January 1989. She died 15 days later. It was truly the worst day of my life. However, years later, I have come to see a great blessing in having gone through this devastation. I can now help others to understand that no one has to die from cancer. There is a prevention and there is a cure. Sorry to bring our government into this discussion but they are a real part of the issue. Cancer is a $200 billion per year industry which means they won't look too hard for a cure. There is no incentive. When a new cancer drug hits the market, oncologists are urged to give that drug out to patients. Those patients become a member of the drug of the month club. We have poured billions into research for the last 30 years and we are no closer to a cure than before, in fact, cancer statistics are higher than ever.

When a new cancer drug hits the market, oncologists are urged to give that drug out to patients. Those patients become a member of the drug of the month club. We have poured billions into research for the last 30 years and we are no closer to a cure than before, in fact, cancer statistics are higher than ever.

The foods most people eat have additives and preservatives that are so dangerous to us and are the main cause of most illness. I have recently gotten into studying diet for disease prevention and it is fascinating what I have learned. I know there is something to it when my husband (who I never think is listening to me) looks at me and says, "if I ever get cancer, I want you to take care of me, no doctors or drugs." We have started integrating raw foods into our diet and when we have used up all of the meats from our freezer, we will go completely raw. Believe me, it isn't as bad as it sounds. Our 17 year old daughter is thrilled - our son is a different story - but I believe he will come around. People need to know how to care for themselves without doctors and drugs -- especially when it comes to cancer.

My husband and I went to a group meeting about raw foods and there was a lady who spoke about her breast cancer. She had a tumor about the size of an egg and they wanted to remove the breast right away. She told them she needed to speak with her husband first -- they decided to seek an alternative. Then she received a flyer in the mail about some tea they could drink for health. She ordered it and started drinking it three times a day. She kept researching and ran across a website for Hallelujah Acres. They started changing not just their diet, but their lifestyle as well. They exercised to increase oxygen intake since cancer cannot survive in and oxygenated environment. She told the group that they were slow about learning everything we were learning in just four weeks. She went in for a check-up and after 18 months - the tumor was completely gone. The doctor was shocked. Her story is just one of many I have heard about the reversal of life-threatening disease. Even Johns Hopkins hospital advises cancer patients to eat at least 80% raw fruits and vegetables. That isn't easy, but having a glass of organic vegetable/fruit juice three times a day is.

Please, if you know someone who has or has had cancer, let them know about the raw food diet plan. It is not difficult to do, especially if your life depends on it. Anyone can go to hacres.com and look at the videos of people and doctors who talk about being alive today because of this diet. In fact, the diet was developed by a man who lost his mother to colon cancer and was diagnosed with it himself. He didn't want to go through what his mother did, so he found an alternative. Their diet plan is for 85% raw, 15% cooked and they have menu plans you can follow. To me, this is the only thing that makes sense. This post is so long I am going to close with this.....if you have an interest and have any questions, please ask and I will try to answer them. God Bless!
