Imbecile, you jump to conclusion, I went to school in Michigan. Canada DID suffer the same effects the US and the world did, in fact it suffers more with higher costs and lesser services for those costs at every level.

If you say so, you can lie to your self, but the numbers do not back you up.

The numbers aren't accurate or verified, they are mere conjecture by a Toronto firm.

Oh I'm sure self ingratiating imbeciles write articles all the time about this country or that, but none of them are "proof" of anything. A good indicator would be immigration, and I don't see the world knocking down Canada's door to get in ;-)

We're quickly becoming non-socialised... our government is disgustingly conservative. As for the climate, most populated areas are no colder than the northern US.

Don't be disgusted with the conservatism, but evaluate its impact. It is, in good measure, a contributor to Canada's success in drawing business from the US. The tax incentives and government concessions are responsible for Bell Helicopter choosing to manufacture their commercial ships in your country.

Any place harbouring snowbirds is too cold for this sun-belter. I'm headed out the door to go fishing and it is as warm as your normal midday... and that's the way I like. I love our two weeks of winter. Golfing, tennis, fishing and hunting almost all year round without the biting cold is marvelous.

Of course not... but you knew that, didn't you? So, what's your point anyway? I said we are "quickly becoming non-socialised"... key word there is "becoming."

I did not say we were not socialised.

My point is you are not getting out of socialism, quickly or otherwise, and are not "richer" in any sense.
  • Inquisi... TheTailor 2012/07/21 19:32:45

Well, funny, all this socialism, and we still have more money.
  • TheTailor Inquisi... 2012/07/21 20:28:22

That's a falsehood, you don't have more money, not even close. Compare the GDP.

It's not that bad once you adapt to it, as the only part that sucks is the first few years.

yea I that's what I was thinking! I even looked up the temperature year round in Victoria and I gotta say it is pretty nice for the majority of the year. I'm from Texas and our summer is about 80% of the year!
