..Canadians are wonderful people, and they're smart enough to spend money on Canadians instead of on war profiteers and pointless, unwinnable wars...I'd move there in a minute...

For me, it's HOW you define rich.

My definition isn't bounded by money alone.

I am a 100% American-made patriot. Nothing could induce me to live in any other country, especially not money.

I would have to agree with you on that one! Not being able to defend oneself with a gun is totally stupid! Of course...you can't even defend yourself in Canada with a rolling pin so....

Canada has very hot summers! We've been having a heat wave lately for the past two weeks....38 C which equals to a little over 100 degress farenheit. Of course up North in the middle of nowhere they are cooler.

LOL! I have relatives in Seattle, Washington and some of their friends actually thought that all Canadian's did exactly that! Two hours from the Canadian/American Border...and this is what they thought.
Actually ....last year in Toronto, Ontario and in the Province of Quebec...temperatures during the Summer hit up to 50 degrees Celsius which is approx. 122 degrees Farenheit. The heat wave lasted for almost a month. People were dying due to the heat. They had Blackouts due to all the power usage for air conditioners running on high. So...it can get very hot in Canada. Especially the Southern parts which border the USA.

The Canadians are not richer than Americans. It's comparing apples to oranges, Canada has 1/10th the population of the US. I would never move to Canada, for any amount of money.

Have you ever been to Canada for a visit? It all depends on where you go as to the climate you get. Seattle and Vancouver are only two hours apart.....not much difference in climate!

Yep. I visited Canada once when I was a kid. Don't remember why. I remember that the people were friendly, but had some weird globalist notions that gave me the woolies. That, and it was cold. Bitter cold.

What month did you visit in and where? No longer do most Canadian's believe in the NWO nor in Agenda 21.....actually our Prime Minister, Stephen Harper is trying to get us kicked out of the UN by saying NO to a lot of things. If we get kicked out ...no other Party who gets into the power seat in Canada will ever be able to get in to the UN again.

I've been interested in moving to Canada for almost 5 years now given the obvious downward spiral the US is in. The problem is that the immigration process is extremely difficult. Of course given my very right-wing views there's quite a bit I dislike/disagree with about Canada. And no I'm not talking about the healthcare, that's a huge plus!

If indeed I could afford it I would in a NY minute. They are so far ahead of the USA. Beautiful country and great people that don't kill each other. I have been here much too long and with all the racism and the ass hole repukes, sad to say but this country is doomed.

Actually, I'm keeping a look out for a cute single Canadian girl ;) . Duel citizenship and homes on either side of the border seems like a perfect plan.
