People wear all sorts of things; from tight, revealing clothing to tailor-made fitted outfits. So can a person's clothing be an indicator to others of their character and who they really are?

OBVIOUSLY what clothing, make up, hair color and style, shoes, purse, etc etc. they wear in public directly relates to what the person is about, OR, at least is about half of the time. You won't ever catch me in a suit, high heels, with pink hair, piercings on my face, or wearing skinny jeans and tube tops. Clothes also tell me whether a person is extremely insecure or totally full of themselves.

Clothing is a way of expressing who you really are. If you're a jock, a prep, a nerd, a goth, or someone in between or just a ho..... it's in the way you dress.

you can tell what sort of person they want to be, and there'll be hints as to who they really are.
it's more body language that's the giveaway.

You couldn't with me. I used to love dressing "preppy" then going into a pet store and squeling over how cute the tarantulas were XD
Always got the strangest looks when I did that.

Most of the time when I was in high school I dressed a bit darker but I was one of the most bubbly people, most people assumed otherwise.
