Every single religion claims it can, but it is time we realized, we cannot and never will be able to speak for God.
As humans, we can speak for humans, we can decide what humanities morals are, we cannot let the idea of god set limitations.

The Concordat between the Vatican and the Nazis
Cardinal Secretary of State, Eugenio Pacelli (later to become Pope Pius XII) signs the Concordat between Nazi Germany and the Vatican at a formal ceremony in Rome on 20 July 1933. Nazi Vice-Chancellor Franz von Papen sits at the left, Pacelli in the middle, and the Rudolf Buttmann sits at the right.
The Concordat effectively legitimized Hitler and the Nazi government to the eyes of Catholicism, Christianity, and the world.
The full text of the concordat appears on the Concordat Watch website.

i know its funny a highly Religious person has Atheist friends
im problely the most highly Religious person on sodahead but i keep my religion to myself
Im not Atheist myself, I am creating my own morals with other people, we just leave the question of god and afterlife unanswered. I would prefer if like you, if I could keep my beliefs to myself, unfortunately as so many would push theres on others I feel a need to stand up against them and contradict them every chance I have.
However, the picture you posted above stands out to me so much, because in previous arguments with Religious fanatics (Catholics in this case) I have been told that without god there can be no good, strangely enough only evil can exist.
But as a child I always considered myself good and have never believed in any god until quite recently. This quote has just put it in an insanely clear perspective.

What part of Ireland?
I have ancestors who lived in County Cork...
No need to be an insulting dick; I just didn't understand what you were saying because it wasnt clear stated.
And personally I dont care who emigrates here legally; because Im not a bigoted nationalist.
Good day.
No one can know everything, but they can easy make themselves believe they do.
I am happier having faith in my own idea over one supposedly giving to me by something or someone else, if god gave me the road that I found the idea on, then I suppose I would be grateful for that.

An ambassador is appointed by the governmental head of a country. "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit" (John 15:16). Astounding that God should choose such ordinary individuals as we are to be His ambassadors. What dignity!
Ambassadors are sent to a foreign, often unfriendly, country. "As my Father hath sent me, even so send I you" (John 20:21). Travelers in a foreign country must remember they are not at home and deserving of comfort. "This world is not my home, I'm just a passing through" is every Christian's theme song, for we are "strangers and pilgrims" (I Pet. 2: 11 ).
It is essential that an ambassador be on good behavior. Christians are to "have a good report of them that are without" (1 Tim. 3:7). "To win some, you must be winsome."
Ambassadors keep in close touch with their home country. "He that abideth in me and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit" (John 15:5). An ambassador of God must be in daily communion with the Lord for fresh instructions.
The ambassador is to reconcile and establish good relations between the peoples of the two lands. What an enormous undertaking for God's ambassadors to beseech men "in Christ's stead" to be "reconciled to God" (II Cor. 5:20). "The most gigantic undertaking God has laid out for the Christian is to lead lost souls to Jesus Christ" (Scarborough). The ambassador is confident and encouraged because he has the power and authority of his government behind him (Matt. 28: 19-20).
We are to carry out the purpose and give the message for which we are sent. How was the Lord Jesus sent? "To seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10). So must a good ambassador do "in Christ's stead" (II Cor. 5:20), to whom Christ commits the "word of reconciliation'' (v. 19).
