Full Civic Literacy Exam (from our 2008 survey)

Are you more knowledgeable than the average citizen? The average score for
all 2,508 Americans taking the following test was 49%; college educators scored
55%. Can you do better? Questions were drawn from past ISI surveys, as well as
other nationally recognized exams.

Wow!! So far, everyone who has answered is ahead of the college educators, FAR ahead. Does that tell you what it tells me?

Someone said that civics is no longer taught in public schools. Perhaps it SHOULD be - unless the ptb need an ignorant population for some secret purpose? I don't consider MY civics education to be among the best, but obviously it is better than today's children are receiving - and that is BAD news!

Not bad! You made the same score I did. I was appalled at the average American's lack of knowledge about his own country, though not surprised.

It certainly makes me wonder how teachers can be considered to be so UNDERPAID, when they have proven to be so lacking educationally themselves.

I believe that the public school system today has become much more concerned about indoctrinating our children into liberalism than it has in the proper education of our children!!!

Bravo!! I congratulate you!! Actually everyone of us has done better than the college educators. I simply cannot believe people teaching in our colleges are as ignorant of our government as they are, but it DOES explain a LOT.
