Here is a lovely young dog- he is so personable and friendly- he loves anyone and everything that will pay him attention- he is very social and no tempermant issues-if you could meet would fall for him- can you post him to see if we can get a place for him-

young, male, red doberman mix (named Roscoe by previous owner)
Brown short smooth coat wtih tan highlights, long tail, darling face
Owner surrender on July 11, 2012
Weight: 42.6 lbs.

Pass the word, if you are able. My dog is in my avatar pic with me - and as you can see, she is huge. I think the smallest dog we have ever had was when we brought her home at 10 wks and she was 24 lbs. LOL! Little dogs are snacks in my house. (Just kidding.) ; )

Would'nt say that about Dachshunds. When I was in Mom in 1961,My Mom was attacked by a collie.Yep Lassie. After the fight was over.when Velvet 1 went to the doctor and all the blood was washed off. He just had a scratch.

Dachsunds are a pretty tough breed. ; ) I'll bet Lassie weighed in at about 70 lbs, max. My dog is 120. However, she really is sweet...

Apparently, some woman got this puppy for her very young son and when her son was not able to or would not take care of the dog, the woman just brought the dog to the shelter. What a way to teach a child about the value of a living being...

Roscoe likes other dogs and cats, has been kept indoors and is housebroken. He is still a puppy and loves attention (although, it is believed he didn't get much in his prior home).

I have not met Roscoe but if you are interested, contact Celeste Ridgway. Let me know if you are able to provide Roscoe with a home so that I can inform the rescue agency from which I received an email regarding him that he has found his forever home. ; ) thanks!
