...............I'm not sure if a person can forgive the person, that blasphemes The Holy Spirit, I believe that is between the person that does that, and God, Himself, if I'm wrong, please reply, to educate me.........
God encourages us to forgive people ..
We like to forgive because we love that God forgive us
One of the many directives of Allah in the Qur'an:
"The guerdon of an ill-deed is an ill the like thereof. But whosoever pardoneth and amendeth, his wage is the affair of Allah. Lo! He loveth not wrong-doers. (40) And whoso defendeth himself after he hath suffered wrong - for such, there is no way (of blame) against them. (41) The way (of blame) is only against those who oppress mankind, and wrongfully rebel in the earth. For such there is a painful doom. (42) And verily whoso is patient and forgiveth - lo! that, verily, is (of) the stedfast heart of things."
(Surah Ash-Shura 39-42)
But then I have been fortunate enough never to have been put in a situation where my mind has been so adversely effected as not to have been able to. Perhaps I can’t.
I put yes because that is my goal.....I think I have reached about 96% in most cases....but I am working on the 100% part. There is never any sense in holding a grudge. But, I would be kidding myself to say I was a saint and have the ability to instantly forgive 100%. Forgiveness takes time just like healing takes time. When people have wronged you or hurt you, it takes time. But I believe it can be done.

I can really hold onto things...
