I was floating through the emptiness
And then I saw a glow
Energy began transforming into mass
Then it began to grow
Curious, I was drawn towards the light
Because I had to know
I sought understanding of the event
As the universe did sow
I waited and I kept a patient vigil
Beholding the ebb and flow
Fascinated by the emerging space
The future began to show
As I stepped from the past
Foreseeing the future's escrow
And to save myself from a fate for all humanity

Beholding the ebb and flow
Fascinated by the emerging space
Freed my soul, letting my whole being, toward it go.
There I learned such secrets to man unknown
depths of darkness, blinding hues,
Overpowering senses, Oh! I should have left alone.
Now apart of all within, linger eternally I do.
And then I saw a glow
Energy began transforming into mass
Then it began to grow
Curious, I was drawn towards the light
Because I had to know
I sought understanding of the event
As the universe did sow
I waited and I kept a patient vigil
Beholding the ebb and flow
Fascinated by the emerging space
Waiting for the matter to blow!
I was full of understanding
With this epiphany I sang
For my senses overwhelmed me
I saw the big bang!

my brain couldn't contemplate it all i though it might blow
As I watched the stars unfolded
bright and brilliant blues and reds emerged very slow
before my eyes a sun I behold-ed
all this I couldn't fathom and it began to take its tole
I made up a story to ease my questions
I made a God I made A foe
for the god left at night
then returned in the morning and its glory I bestowed
