It goes with anything. You can even mix it with brown, even though old people tell you not to.

You could definitely fail with black in the summer in this climate. Black is much too hot. Black and sweat, not exactly attractive!

When you don't know what to put on, just grab that favorite black outfit, it works every time with the right accessories.

To me basic black IS the fail.
It's boring and unimaginative. Someone who rocks teal or aqua is doing something.

it was the off screen choice for the actor Yul Brynner...it was said he broke up the monotony of wearing black by 'accessorizing'

As long as the clothing is in good taste, both men and women can wear black. Good taste does not have to be expensive. simple black dress man s black suit

not usually, unless it's basic black made out of VHS tape strips. lol Micaela Schaefer at the MIB3 premiere had one and it was crazy. I just like a simple dress or skirt.

In fashion the color black is quick go to outfit color since everything goes with black. IMO it is a lazy girl's way of dressing. One should challenge one's imagination, mixing all the colors up, getting the creative juices going. As an example, I love the color orange, imagine another color that goes with orange? So many. I learned that it is like the new black, many colors goes with it such as navy, yellow, turquoise, green. I look at the palette of the house of Hermes that has orange as their iconic color and the colors of their scarves. The possibilities are endless and I love mixing them up. Confidence is the name of the game when wearing colors.

Never. It looks good on every woman and has since the 1920's when Coco Chanel introduced the first "little black dress".
