Can you disagree,yet still love someone?

I think it can definitely make things difficult -particularly if it's something you feel deeply about- because it makes you question the kind of person they are. But most of these things are completely overcomable. Little things like foods, music, movies are annoying and kind of cute. Me and my love get into silly arguments -espcially over food. He's THE pickiest eater- that usually lead to play fights, that then often lead to hot passionate sex. If thats not the kind of relationship you want then I feel bad for you. But like I said, with deeply important issues, it can be tough. For instance I could never see myself loving someone that was a real, committed, unwavering racist, overbearing religious bigot, or satanist. But that's just me. If you really love someone there's usually a workable middle ground. And basically what I think it all boils down to is you can't help who you fall in love with.

I like the people closest to me to be intelligent and capable of having a good debate now and again. It'd be boring to agree on everything. Some of my closest friends have different political, ethical and religious beliefs, but I love them to pieces.

My mother and I were as different as night and day. We had some memorable knock down drag outs, but in the end, we loved each other very much. Its been 5 years Jean and I still miss her and not a day goes by that I don't think of her. The fights make me laugh though.

Most of my family prefers drama in their t.v shows, while I lean more towards comedy. I still love them regardless! Different preferences for different people :)

Yes you can, we disagree constantly on parenting and everyday issues but in the end always love each other be it my siblings Mother or my other half our conversations always end with "I love you" and mean it.

It keeps life interesting. Some of my best friends disagree with me :)

Having differing opinions makes life interesting. If we were all the same how boring that would be. My sweet bride and I disagree on many things from religion to politics, and it is not a problem, because for those of us that live and love life and enjoy many other like interests none of those things are very important.
