As long as you are making a effort to become better not purposely sinning and thinking oh I can just repent right after this time. I also think it depends on what it is like if you are a murderer or something really bad then no I don't believe you are going to be forgiven.

Yes. The problem presents itself when the same sin is committed repeatedly and willfully, with the idea that God will continue to forgive me, if I just ask!

Theres a difference between true repentance with repeated sin and untrue repentance and repeated ignorance!

Well, if you ignorantly repeated a sin being fully aware it is wrong and asked forgiveness intending to not repeat that sin, but give in to temptation.Would that count?

As I explained above, if the sin is committed with the justification being that God will forgive the sin no matter what, then inevitably you will be moving away from God as shame and guilt take over and hiding from God is all you do.
Another option is to give your problem over to God and trust in him! He already paid for your sins, give this one to him and know he'll take the desire away.
In other words, it's unreasonable to think someone is strong in faith with a solid relationship with God, when sin runs their life! We all sin ... repeatedly! True repentance requires the desire and the effort to not repeat the sin!

If you keep doing it over and over again, you never truly repented in your heart. When you truly mean it, you will stop doing the same sin and then you can be forgiven.
