There's no doubt about it. MySpace isn't what it used to be. But perhaps what's so unique about one of the very first social networking sites on the Internet is its determination to keep going amidst the popularity of other, more modern web giants like Facebook.
Those who still have MySpace will see a very different site when they log on. Particularly, they'll see a large image of Justin Timberlake (one of the main investors of the site) as well as a huge promotional headline about his new single, "Suit and Tie." Ugh. Better luck next time, MySpace. Do you think the site can ever rebound and become popular again?

The new MySpace seems to be two things: a confusing mess for existing users (and maybe everybody else), and basically a promotional vehicle for the music star Justin Timberlake, one of the main investors in the site.

Send that Zuckerf--k to the poorhouse (lol0
They would have been better going with a new domain name for this project, as "MySpace.com" is more or less tainted now. In one minute, I haven't completely figured out the website, but I can see the potential.
It's no longer a Facebook competitor, it's something entirely different. It's completely about music now. And after a little more exploration, it's quite nice in what it's trying to do. A little clunky at first, but with more users, things will smooth out. It's just going to take a serious ad campaign to revitalize this decaying domain name.
