Can hamsters get pneumonia?

But they can also get MRSA which is a bacterial infection that can act like pneumonia and does kill. Humans can also get it and your cousin should take bacteria cleaners and clean the area than the hamster was around and the room it was in. MRSA is a super bug that has been taking over and kills tens of the thousands per year. They just found it on the beaches in Washington State. It's in hospitals, nursing homes, public places and even schools as students have even died from it and it made national press. That's also why you have to wash your hands after handling pets as pets carry the infection when they walk around. Most people have their immune system fight it but the elderly don't hold up as well and many die yearly as a result.
