Ya know it's funny how easy it is to track down the loud mouth jerks that just can't seem to leave others alone and nine times out of ten they seem to be people with mental problems that aren't even worth draging out of their house and bitch slapping!

There is chemical depression, but there is also environmental causes that can contribute to depression, or at least set it off. It wouldn't surprise me that ANY form of bullying, can result in it. It's all dependent upon the person effected, honestly.

true depression is a chemical issue in the brain...but bullying in any form could sure worsen the feelings....

Depression is caused by stress too though. Many aren't inclined to depression for no reason. It can be caused by something external, like the death of a family member, loss of work, bullying.

That is called sadness...or mourning. That is a real emotion caused by external stimulis, true clinical depression is not..... Thanks for your input for sure..

I am treated for bipolar. I know the difference between stress related depression and clinical depression. But it's a depression all the same. The stress of sad things can even imbalance someone for a bit to where they benefit from medicine. Of course they come off of it eventually. Not trying to argue, just sharing my understanding of it.

I agree. That is being rude. Cyberbullying.

I was wondering what you thought the real world consequences are? I thought you may have a very interesting take with your experinece running web sites. I just wanted to know more about what you stated. Many of us may not even think of things they way you do, as I'm sure you've dealt with all kinds of on line situations.

Unfortunately that's not always the case.

Cyber-bullying should have serious consequences everywhere, especially on social networks where bullies are allowed to gather together to form cliques and gangs who are dedicated to antagonising whomever their particular group opposes, usually in either politics or religion, but unfortunately too many social networks turn a blind eye to what's really going on when there is personal bias involved or individual website staff are allowed to entertain their own whims, which they can sometimes use to protect their own personal friends, even after numerous site violations seen and recorded by many site members.

Sorry, dude. I have lots of questions just waiting to be posted, but every day I log in and see how many happenings I still have to work through, it kind of puts me off a bit. They're close to 14,000 right now. I'm tempted to just clear them all and start again, but then I'll always know in the back of my mind that there are things I haven't dealt with yet and having OCD doesn't help with that, because it's difficult not to let those kinds of things build up in my mind until they become obsessions.

I'Il try to post a few today. :o)

Ah, over here the closest to that is probably "kick back", which I imagine you already know means to relax. lol

I'd love to come over, I really would, but unfortunately until I overcome my agoraphobia it's not going to be that easy. I actually have my first psychotherapy session today to help me with it, so maybe soon I'll start being able to get out and about again without the anxiety. :o)

It still amazes me that they never noticed the blatant phallic shape of that polystyrene rock, either they were truly innocent back then when it came to sexual innuendos or they kept it in as a practical joke. lol

For kids who have to deal with it from others they know, it's awful. They don't just get bullied at school, but they get tormented at home too when they turn on their computer. And cyberbullying is random. You don't even know who's attacking you for sure. But you know it's people you see everyday.
