In my opinion, a lot of the times they bring that misery upon themselves. If I had money it would help improve the conditions in my life *a lot*, therefore I would become a lot happier. It won't cure every single problem, but just improve it enormously. The rich don't have to worry about not being able to pay bills, being homeless or trying to clothe and feed themselves properly like poor people do.
We buy or buy into things all the time through the choices we make. If every purchase builds a better life for you, people you love, and your community, then I don't see why not.
NO! I meant NO! Damn it! Anyway, I know a psychiatrist, and he sees a lot of depressed rich people. This wouldn't be happening if money could by happiness.
Yes n no.... Yes at the time you need it and its there .... No bc money dont last forever and it cant buy you love life or affection. Maybe for a while but only for a purpose.
It can only as the total opposite, having absolutely no money causes severe unhappiness. The amount of money one needs to horde, and be worshiped by capitalism for hoarding... needs to be a little lower I think. The world doesn't really need people with billions of dollars just sitting in a bank account for the day they decide (or don't) to be philanthropic with it.
It can't buy happiness but it sure will keep me smiling for a very long time, yes. And as one of my favorite quotes go, "Money can't buy happiness but I sure damn well prefer crying in a Ferrari."
Not really but it can relieve a great deal of stress to have enough money to pay the bills, put food on the table and still have enough in savings for emergencies like car repair bills, health issues, etc.
Money doesn't buy u happiness 'per se' but It does buy u things that make u happy.
