Come back? When did it ever leave????????
It's the fast food place here on base. We don't go that often but it's a nice treat every once in a while.

Burger King fans received some bad news recently, as Wendy's topped the chain in U.S. sales volume for the first time last year, making it the new No. 2 burger joint after McDonald's. But now, Burger King is fighting back with the biggest menu expansion since its launch in 1954, The Associated Press reports.

On Monday, the chain launched 10 food items, including new chicken strips, caramel frappe coffees, Caesar salads and strawberry-banana smoothies -- all of which resemble the healthier offerings at McDonald's (Burger King is no longer targeting cash-strapped young men, according to the AP).
Burger King is also modernizing their aging restaurants, with leather armchairs, high stools, warmer lighting and high partitions to create more privacy. Employee uniforms are being redesigned with aprons (seems a bit belated to us) and the Whopper is being served in cardboard cartons instead of paper wrapping for the first time in 20 years.
And of course, there's a new marketing effort -- the company's biggest one ever -- to go with the changes. TV ads will feature David Beckham, Jay Leno, Salma Hayek and Mary J. Blige. All this for a shot at a comeback. Do you think Burger King can be popular again? Or is the home of the Whopper old news?

change every thing in their stores to BETTER FOOD, SERVICE AND PRICES AND THEN MAYBE THEY CAN DO BETTER
Burger King used to be the fastest drive-thru in the town I grew up in and they also were great everywhere I went but now it seems they have let themselves go!
