Someone told me a woman could'nt be sexually obsessed and femist, that they are 2 opposed

Maybe that's true for heterosexual (even if I don't think so, machist are using women as object but still want sex), but for lesbian, how can their opinion on men influence their sexuality ?

feminism is not supposed to be equal to man hating. It is supposed to be about gaining equal rights for women but some feminists have definitely taken a wrong turn. That is why I prefer to call myself a humanist. A humanist wants equal rights for everybody. It includes feminism but it does not exclude anyone with a penis.

hell yea....it's only the extremist whacko element of feminism that connect the hatred of hetero sex as rape...those people are loony tunes...generally these women are the type that no one wants to have sex with anyway....really fat ugly women should not be passing any of their ideas to anybody at any time...

I'm sure there are plenty of heterosexual women who support women's issues but have no problems confessing they want the sausage every once in a while.

Feminism is about rights to equal pay, fair treatment legally and similar stuff.

Sexual obsession is about sex. I have known a woman who was an ardent feminist (back in the 70s) who had a sex drive that was amazing. She had sex with many, many guys including me. She loved sex in about any form and was very active with NOW.

So, yes, a woman can be both.

    Why not?

    I think sex is great.

And exactly what is a feminist?

A lesbian and / or female supremicist steeped in individualistic philosophy where everything is a fierce competition, and all relationships are power based and hierarchal? Yeah, they might not be into normal sex.

Or a normal educated woman who wants to vote and be legally free to manage her own affairs, but still get married, have a husband, or at least a boyfriend, have children and a family life, and possibly a career or job on the side.? A first class citizen as men are.

the person was talking about me being extreme feminist (cause few people called me that when I said : I pay pill, he should provide condoms) so, that for them I have a problem with man

She never was able to tell me how a lesbian need to like men to love sex lolll

It would NEVER occur to me to expect the lady I was about to bed kept a supply of condoms for my use, "just in case". If it was any sort of issue, I would buy them- it's a product for men for durn sake no woman ever expected me to buy her tampons for her, though..
I would br expecting her to be useing the pill though
  • xcheshi... Blueskies 2011/02/01 20:41:54

    yep, exactly.

Protection is 50% for each, pills and condoms both counts. And men can't have pill yet.
if men would have pills, it would not be for them only to buy condoms though

The two a different issues. A feminist could demand not to be looked at as a slut just because she likes sex. Men are looked at differently for being sexually active with multiple partners. Why are women sluts? Why are men considered players? A feminist would more than likely demand equal treatment for sexuality. Men should not be looked at any different than a woman. That would be what a feminist would demand. The truth is that men and women both like sex. It should be equal for both species.

Yes a woman can be both. Feminism just wants equal and/or better rights for Females than Males. I'm sure that including the rights to choose when, how and how often they have naughty fun. As long as it's consenting adults I believe both males and females have those rights in the US.

Yes, people do use it as pejorative which is another reason why I call myself a humanist instead. It reduces chance that someone will misunderstand me. I agree with you about the birth control. Birth control is a shared responsibility.

I've heard of some cases where women would lure men in, abuse them and then kill them. Granted the women I'm thinking of were psychpaths but based on some of their behavior I'd say they considered themselves femminist.

No the cases in particular I have in mind really were psychopaths. For example one of them slept with her own son and had him kill his stepdad. The other would lure physically limited men, sleep with them, accuse them of being pedophiles and then kill them. You can be femminist and not psychotic. But these women considered themselves "independent." Its just an observation.
