A perfume that's supposed to help you lose weight? Consider us intrigued... but also skeptical. The world's very first weight-loss fragrance is designed to "slim with pleasure." But what does that even mean? The perfume has ingredients that release B-endorphins into the skin, which sends a "pleasure message" through the brain that increases contentment and decreases the need to overeat.

We don't mean to sound negative, but we really doubt a fragrance will help you lose weight. But hey, there are some believers out there! The product already has a waiting list of about 6,000 people. Do you think a perfume can help you lose weight?

DAILYMAIL.CO.UK reports:
Prends–moi is the world’s first slimming fragrance from Velds that has been developed at the illustrious French perfume house Robertet.

Americans are always searching for a magic product to make them fit.
When in reality, its the lack of product that has the best chance to reduce weight, specifically, the lack of food products.
Combined of course with more physical activity, dont need a magic product for that either.

I seriously doubt this claim. But, on the plus side, at least the morbidly obese will smell a little better.

I had to do a Chemisty project about perfume (don't ask..) and, actually, perfume is very unhealthy for you. It causes illnesses and cancer, more so skin cancer. So, no, it does not cause you to loose weight. Even though...that'd be awesome -.- But it doesn't.

They just say that so they will be able to sell it. I'll tell you what really makes you loose weight; and faster. When you go for walks, you should always put on a sweater, no matter if the weather is too hot but take something to drink with you. When you sweat, you tend to loose more weight. That's how I'm loosing a lot of weight doing that. It really works.

In my opinion, using perfume to lose weight is like drinking diet soda when your on a diet instead of regular, you think your helping but your not.

Slim your wallet. Plus it is a well known fact that some chemicals have a hypo-reaction and some a hyper-reaction with certain individuals.

... First it was corsets, then it was sucking fat out and now its perfume... Everyone knows that just because you lose weight doesnt mean you will never gain it again.. And everyone knows that for every good thing there is out there theres a bad thing. Yea, it might help you lose weight.... but you officially smell like s**t.
