California Restaurant Offers 100 Percent Bacon Burger: Yum or Yuck?

Everything is better with bacon, right? So, how about getting rid of that ridiculous "hamburger" part and making the whole entree with bacon? Genius idea!

ABCNEWS.GO.COM reports:
Slater’s 50/50, a California chain made famous for its half-bacon, half-beef burger, has gone bacon-crazy. The ‘Merica, the restaurant’s July burger of the month, is a 100 percent ground bacon burger topped with more bacon, a sunny-side-up egg, bacon island dressing and bacon cheddar cheese. The concept for Slater’s 50/50 Burgers by Design came out of a dare at a Charger’s tailgate party between owner Scott Slater and some of his San Diego State University buddies. Could a 100 percent ground bacon burger work?

    Okay I love Bacon, but there's too much of a good thing!! However, that said, it depends entirely on how greasy it is, and the other little details about the bacon used to make it. So, I'm dubious, but would give it a try for sake of open-mindedness.

    Sounds like a good breakfast sandwich or similar to a bacon lettuce and tomato. but you need to try, a sausage burger. made with sausage patty rather than ground beef. oh yeah, taste so good, it makes your tongue want to slap your brains out.

    But only if you commit to at least a season of a gymnast diet & gym after EACH one.

    If not, perhaps pay $100 or so tariff to go to a local Cardio Bypass Clinic to invest in your inevitable surgery a decade or two down the line, if not sooner..

    of course they have to name it "The 'merica". looks like slop plopped on a table. it seems to me people are making excuses for culinary mistakes or calling slop "culinary masterpieces". seriously. would someone like Chef Ramsey wouldnt accept this crap.
