Everything is better with bacon, right? So, how about getting rid of that ridiculous "hamburger" part and making the whole entree with bacon? Genius idea!

ABCNEWS.GO.COM reports:
Slater’s 50/50, a California chain made famous for its half-bacon, half-beef burger, has gone bacon-crazy. The ‘Merica, the restaurant’s July burger of the month, is a 100 percent ground bacon burger topped with more bacon, a sunny-side-up egg, bacon island dressing and bacon cheddar cheese. The concept for Slater’s 50/50 Burgers by Design came out of a dare at a Charger’s tailgate party between owner Scott Slater and some of his San Diego State University buddies. Could a 100 percent ground bacon burger work?

A little bacon is ok but not a whole burger, I'm not much for pork anyways, it's probably at the bottom of my meat list but ham and bacon are often too salty for my tastes and there's something about pork that doesn't taste right when I eat it.
Other's can eat it, just not much for it personally, kinda rare if I do.

It has to do with qantity not specifically what they eat.

Not necessarily. That is like saying the nutritional value of an apple is the same as an ice cream sundae; as long as it is just one, right? Not really...

It has to do with caloric intake. Not necessarily what you eat at all. You can eat all the wrong foods and still be thin.

I believe there is far more salt in a McDonald's burger than in most bacon.

But should be approached with caution. Might be nowhere near as good as it sounds. But could be really good.

People are willing to have bacon, eggs with cheese, and toast as a breakfast. The dressing might be odd, but the rest of it is breakfast put together into a burger/sandwich. What's wrong with that?!

You'd have a bowl of ice cream. It's just ice cream unless you get other toppings. But can be eaten as 100% ice cream.

I'm not saying that it's the same concept as bacon. My point is your statement is flawed.

My "opinion" is that your statement and your opinion is flawed. This is an opinion site, just because you don't agree with my opinion, it does not mean it is flawed. It only means that you disagree with it. That's only your opinion and you are you are entitled, just as I am to mine. :-)

I meant that it was....situational, not absolute. You said that having too much of one thing is always bad. Here's an absolute counter: air. When are you ever going to get tired of breathing air until you're dead or suicidal?

As soon as you or your mama does, which ever one goes first is fine with me. :-)

That was almost an impressive retort. What ruined it? "or yo mama". Yeah, saying whenever I do is fine with you would've been better.

What is "fine with you" is irrelevant to me. Before you get too full of your own imagined self-importance, I just think it would benefit you immensely to know that. :-)

    Sandman366
I was saying that was almost a really good retort before you stooped low and tossed in a "yo' momma". That's such a stale joke/insult....it smells like a hundred landfills. Most people tend to not use it after they're like...12.

I would ask if that makes you 10 to open up room for you to redeem yourself, but I won't, because I'm sure you'd just ruin it again.

What part of what is "fine with you" is irrelevant to me did you not understand? May I add that what you think is also just as irrelevant. Need I say more? :-)
  • Sandman366 American 2012/07/11 23:09:11
    Sandman366
Clearly you have missed my point. I was saying that if you said "I'm fine if you get tired of breathing.", it'd seem to be a better insult/retort/comeback than "As soon as you or your mama does, which ever one goes first is fine with me."

Apparently, though, you're above understanding someone's point before saying their existence is irrelevant to absolutely anything.
  • American Sandman366 2012/07/12 00:28:07
    American
Clearly you missed my point. What is so hard for you to understand about I could care less about what you think? I thought it was a perfectly fine come back. In fact, I am quite proud of it.

You should have thought first before you began the insults,IE., "When ever are you going to get tired of breathing air until you're dead or suicidal?" If you can't stand the heat stay out of the kitchen.

You need to stop your whining or just STFU if you can't take what you give. You don't write the narrative for my comments and the sooner you realize that fact, the better off you'll be. :-)

A kitchen doesn't have to be hot.

You have no idea how arrogant you sound. Maybe I do too, but Pot, stop calling me black. Or find a new kettle. Either works.

Maybe have it just before they put you under for the quintuple bypass.
