Butterfly Eyelashes: Pretty or Freaky?

Women have officially lost their minds.
Most of us have been blessed with eyelashes that are quite pretty in their natural form. Some of us have thicker, fuller, longer lashes than others, but that's what mascara is for.
In fact, even eyelash extensions (commonly worn by celebs, news anchors and brides on their wedding day) are kind of nasty and fake-looking if you get up close.
So why are women adorning their eyelashes with ... fake deer and butterflies??
UK-based company Paperself has created 11 styles of faux lashes inspired by Chinese paper-cutting and contemporary design, Stylelist reports.
Paerself describes the lashes as "intricately cut and delicately pretty ... each infused with symbolic meaning rooted in Chinese culture."
For example, butterflies stand for "free, beautiful and sensitive"; horses are symbolic of success; peonies symbolize happiness and good fortune; peach blossoms represent love and romance; peacocks are auspicious and lucky and clowns "bring the whole happiness," whatever that means.
The lashes come in two sizes: smaller ones just for the corners of your eyes for a "subtle daytime look," and full lashes for a special occasion.
We're not sure there's anything "subtle" about these lashes. What do you think?

They call attention to your eyes... to your face... so be careful with what kind of make-up you wear... .
