Bushy (and Bedazzled) Brows Back in Style: Hot or Not?

For years, women have been expected to have their eyebrows regularly plucked and groomed. But now, the natural look seems to be back in style. Fashion insiders really don't expect women to start walking around with "bedazzled" brows, the way they did earlier this month at Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2012 show. But you may start seeing fuller brows instead of thinner, wispier lines.

brows

"Eyebrows frame the face, frame the eyes," Ramy Gafni, makeup artist and owner of New York City’s Ramy Spa, told TODAY.com. "Fashion is always trying to keep things new and interesting and now people are saying that the frame can be interesting too, hence the sparkles and bold colors seen in recent shows. These trends are meant to trickle down in a diluted form to the public. No one is expecting the woman-on-the-street to go to work with black sparkly eyebrows, but to translate that look to a full, well groomed eyebrow."

Plus, bushy brows come with a couple of bonuses: One, they can make you look younger, and two, they save money. In fact, Gafni says the "trend" may simply be a result of the economy. "Customers who once came in every three weeks are now coming in every other month and that leads to a bushier eyebrow," he told "TODAY." Do you like the bushy brow look? Or do you prefer the plucked-to-perfection brow style?

I don't know about bedazzled or monobrows, but closer to natural always looks better to me. Unnatural arches and shapes just detract from a woman's beauty in my ho.

I don't consider these brows to be bushy at all. They are well shaped and groomed, and very attractive.

Everything in moderation, I'm not sure what is nastier: Super thin brows drawn on with marker or bushy thick straight across ones with no shape. The best looking kind are the type you never even think to look at. If they distract from her eyes because they are to thick or thin then she's doin' it wrong. They should never be a focal point, they eyes should.

I was born with a thick unibrow so I can't really consider this something to complain about.

I have them they take endless hours to pluck and tweeze and waxing at the saloon. But it is totally well worth it. However pulling them and tweezing them does hurt so , I have to leave some though I hate them, and I rather not deal with it at all. If you don't look good you don't project a good image, You must always do your best to look good no matter how poor you are or at least try. You never know who you can meet or run into. I learned this at 16 when I was commented on by a boy at my school who knew that I better start tweezing and waxing my brows. I thought he was being mean but I'm glad he told me the truth. and I am glad I have them waxed and tweeze I wouldn't want them to run into one another totally so gross.

There is definitly a limit to "bedazzlement" ladies hahaha.. i think its fine to maybe do bushy but not bedazzled, it would be an exception if you were an actress or model so that its for a couple of hours but it shouldnt be for a lifetime!

I don't know about 'bushy' or 'bedazzled' for that matter but I LOVE thick eyebrows. Mine are thick and dark and everyone says I have beautiful eyebrows. I get them waxed or threaded so they're neat but thick.

Sure, why not? I mean, it's their choice. And anyway, you don't have to wear makeup and have your eyebrows plucked to be pretty. No one needs to look fake and mask their true appearance with that. I don't personally like the look, but whatever suits your fancy.

My eyebrows look like a magic marker went and took a long and narrow across my forehead with a small break in the middle. I have never heard "Oh my, what a mighty and powerful brow you have. Can I birth your spawn?"

Nope, more like "Dude, you always look so pissed off...." and that has never lead to any sexytimes,
