Do you care about your remains, after death?
Would you like to be cremated?

Rome is burning 2007/07/13 02:46:39Yes+6I have no use for my body after I die which is why I am an organ doner. Once science has made use of any of my organs that have not been destroyed by whiskey and cigarettes, I would prefer to be cremated. I don't see the point of spending god only knows how many thousands of dollars on a box thats going to rot in the ground. I want my ashes spread somewhere in Central Park.

Cremation was once used to deny the resurrection of the body. The body is to be respected as it has been nourished by the sacraments and is to be buried in consecrated ground
And how do you spread some ashes and keep some?
Sounds confusing- but I guess I should do more looking in to.
That just sounded so cool that I am pretty sure I wanted to stay in tact so I can be shot out of something.
Don't we, as Americans, deserve a proper burial as we see fit? WOW...there it is again, BIG BROTHER getting into what should be personal matters.
Would the government prefer we bury our loved ones behind the house like a household pet>?
Again, HOW DARE the government say that we cannot put a biodegradable substance into a public river? (As long as it does not pose a health threat, which ashes cannot...any bacterium would be destroyed in the process,)
I'm incensed because I plan to have the same thing done with my ashes.
