Love ice cream? Love bacon? Well then, mark your calendar: Burger King is launching a new bacon sundae on Thursday for a limited time only! After making its debut in Nashville, Tenn., earlier this year, the sundae features vanilla soft serve with fudge, caramel, bacon crumbles and a piece of bacon as garnish. The bad news? Burger King's new bacon sundae contains 510 calories, 18 grams of fat and 61 grams of sugar!

The chain is also launching several pork, beef and chicken sandwiches for a limited time only. Highlights include: Memphis Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich, Carolina BBQ Whopper or Chicken Sandwich, Texas BBQ Whopper or Chicken Sandwich, sweet potato fries and frozen lemonade.

Burger King has been working overtime to reverse its sliding market share, the AP reports. Earlier this year, the fast-food chain expanded its menu to include fruit smoothies, snack wraps and new salads. The Whopper and fries have been revamped, too. Will you give the bacon sundae a try? Or pass on the fat and calories?

Those who voted great, have you had it yet? I did at a Co-op that makes their own ice cream. I really do not eat bacon anymore but my curiosity made me try a small "sample." The sample could not have been small enough. I started to gag and had to spit it out into a napkin. I know the expression on my face was comical. I kept having the dry heaves. Wanted to get it all out. It was disgusting!

Ah come on this is totally gross! Bacon and ice cream with fudge don't go together! Now it would've been ok if it was M&M;'s or mint chocolate chips but not anything that's greasy! Gosh

Maybe not, the maple bacon sunday at Denny's wasn't bad until you got down to the bottom. Unless you like drinking syrup, I wouldn't suggest finishing the bottom.
