Bubba Watson Cries, Hugs After Winning Masters: Is It OK for a Man to Cry?

Of course it is - what a stupid question! - all people get emotional, laugh, cry, get angry, etc. Even the most close marriages have ups and downs, and have you ever seen a mother who scoops her beloved child out of the way of a car, cyclist, etc., and then got mad with the child for getting into the danger. If a family member dies, and someone doesn't grieve, it causes a lot of problems - mental stress, even breakdowns. Picture the woman whose husband leaves for work, and they have had some problem, and they never kissed or made up, and he is killed on the way home in a car crash - how long she will mourn because their last words were spoken in anger. Who on earth thinks these questions up? I guess it is a bit sad that it wasn't his wife who he hugged, but he apparently hugged a lot of the other pro golfers there, plus his mom - I think it is good that he feels confident enough to be able to hug a wide range of people at the game. Picture your standard soccer player - whenever they score a goal, it tends to be hugs all round, and they are all men. Is it perhaps the hug which is the big hang-up, and it's between men? - I suspect evil minded people could see something unhealthy in this, but it is the motivation behind the hug which is the issue. I don't see it unhealthy unless the motivation is unhealthy. This isn't, so relax folks, and Gifford too. I was brought up not to touch anyone else in any sort of emotional way, and that produced big problems later in life. I think I am more over it now, but aged 64, I should be, for goodness sake!
