I don’t usually use those big words
Cause I don’t usually deal with big people
I find you can get a whole lot of small people
And whip hell out of a whole lot of big people

Murder murder murder kill kill kill
Cannibals walk the earth and get ill blood spill
Eyes sunk deep in their skull their bone chill
Few for survival most for the thrill

Terrorism is the war of the poor
Hold up a mirror so the script get flipped
Cause when it’s in reverse it ain’t wrong no more
Warfare’s the terrorism of the rich

Who’s the true guerilla
When the bomb on your body killing innocent civilians
But a life is a life and a killer is a killer
You’re at a desk chillin’ push a button kill a million

See the anguish of the parents
When they’re carrying the body of the baby that they cherish
When innocent people perish
It’s a very thin line between a soldier and a terrorist

Murder murder kill kill kill
Death and destruction a cap get pealed
Harm or heal destroy and rebuild
Shots still ring out the blood still spill

Murder murder kill kill kill
Death and destruction a cap get pealed
Harm or heal destroy and rebuild
Shots still ring out the blood still spill

Overseas we can mutilate and mangle
Let me give you an example what our troops are coming back to
Cold cities where the youth are getting strangled
The community in peril and our future looking narrow

Your school already failed you

The boys in blue will nail you they salute you with a barrel
The streets are a certified dead zone
Decorated with chalk lines and headstones

All the way live and every night the bullets flying
Even if you ain’t dying you a traumatized survivor
When you grow up in a climate of overriding violence
You will never get beyond it it’s always alive inside you

And death just surrounds you
Fallen classmates’ ghosts haunt you
Crime just calls you cause you look at what you walk through
Ain’t certain if you’ll make it ain’t sure you even want to

Murder murder kill kill kill
Death and destruction a cap get pealed
Harm or heal destroy and rebuild
Shots still ring out the blood still spill

Murder murder kill kill kill
Death and destruction a cap get pealed
Harm or heal destroy and rebuild
Shots still ring out the blood still spill

Choir
Tears and sorrow block the sunlight
Head low heart broke eyes closed tongue-tied
Waters raise the tide is climbing
Speeding time the sky is crying
Shots are fired bombs and sirens
War and riots mourning in America

Now that society forgot you
And they locked you in an obstacle course where nothing’s possible
If you slip up and they caught you
They got boxes where they lock you make a million dollars off you

They rule you too rude to school
They screw you in a booth shoot electricity through you
Or inject death into you
On a television set and let it ooze through you

Every time a leader tries to stand up for our freedom
Someone claps them with the heater their brain and back leaking
A shame their family grieving the only way to see them
Is a displaced dream displayed in a museum

They say they built our nation for a reason
Then they stained it with the bleeding of the slaves that never seen it
I ain’t hating I still want to believe it
And I’m not trying to leave it I just call it how I see it

Murder murder kill kill kill
Death and destruction a cap get pealed
Harm or heal destroy and rebuild
Shots still ring out the blood still spill

Murder murder kill kill kill
Death and destruction a cap get pealed
Harm or heal destroy and rebuild
Shots still ring out the blood still spill

They haven’t got anything to lose
And they’ve got everything to gain
And they’ll let you know in a minute
It takes two to tango. When I go, you go

The message may be great, but it's conveyed through a genre that completely and totally turns me off. Either get someone to turn this into an actual song, with someone that can really sing, or forget it.
FYI: While this next part will read to be "arrogant" and "prideful", I am too well informed to waste my time with this alleged music genre.

I respectfully disagree; to shun away truth on account of false perception over an entire genre can be perceived as ignorant. Some didn't like the musicality either, but enjoyed the intelligence of the lyrics. He should keep telling his truth in the form of art that he loves doing it in; as the saying goes "You can't please everyone."

I didn't type that it won't speak to others. Rap is not a large spectrum of the populous.

Some may beg to differ, the spectrum of Rap crosses many demographics and layers for those who understand it. Plus, it's only the few genre's left that actually has a big movement of telling the honest truth about our government, and country. Most of what you wouldn't hear in today's current Rock, Pop, and other musical genre's.

Let them differ. 1st Amendment still works for those who know how to exercise it.

Yes, and expressing 1st amendment rights through poetry is a beautiful thing.

There are over 7 billion people on the planet; however improbable it may seem to you personally, the odds are excellent that at least one exists.

Didn't ask for a statistical lesson, I asked you to find one. Out of the list of associates and acquaintances that I know well enough (around 50), maybe two would fit this, and they are under 35 and I'm 49.
Those I know over 70 don't listen to Rap. Those I know over 60 don't listen to Rap. I don't know anyone older than me that does.
    Have fun with it.

No. Just exercising the 1st Amendment, and getting chewed out for it.

You must have a very different idea of what 'getting chewed out' means than I do.

I had no idea that the first amendment meant one's speech is also free from any and all examination or query.

chewed amendment meant speech free examination

How about a third: Typing my opinion without people typing back about what a fool I am to discard a method of delivery of an idea that folk need to hear.
Since I already know that many will like the message and the delivery, I figured it might be safe to state that I wasn't impressed by the delivery. Clearly, I was wrong on that assessment. Beyond that, self-moderated.

    Um...

No one called you a "fool."

    No one even implied it.

This is the part where I start to seriously wonder if you're having a completely different conversation than everyone else, but only you know about it.

    fool implied completely conversation

All anyone stated was that different people like different things, and out of 7 billion inhabitants, there's likely one to be at least one elderly human being who actually likes the genre.

No need to "self moderate" either; I'm done, because you seem to be taking this exchange WAY too seriously.

Like whatever you like, go have a beer (or whatever mellows you out) and I hope your day gets better.

Perhaps you should explore why it 'turns you off'? There's probably a reason.

I used to dislike rap because I was taught that it was not real music. Then when I actually listened to some of it I changed my mind.

Well-informed? HAH, and yet you claim that it's not an actual song?
