I hope states that it applies to are taking action to protect the Bonnie Blue too!

=====================

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer signed a new law to prevent homeowners associations from banning the favored tea party flag, which displays a coiled rattlesnake and the message “Don’t Tread on Me.”

The new law gives the black and yellow flag the same protection as the American flag, flags representing any branch of the military, the state flag, POW-MIA flags and those of any Arizona Indian nation, FoxNews.com reported Wednesday.

    Why should ANY flag be illegal to fly? No flag can hurt anything but feelings.

    A better law would be outlawing HOA's altogether. They're more about stealing from homeowners and abusing their power than they are about doing anything useful.

    If you have a Constitution lying around, check it out.
    And next round, bet you'll be more diligent! HOA's can be good or bad. At least they aren't governments with the right to force and steal.

    I have the US and TX Constitution, they are both great documents that government has to abide by. If by constitution, you are talking about covenants for an HOA, it's a worthless pieces of crap that in many states, mine included unfortunately, isn't worth the paper it is printed on. HOA's can do pretty much as they please and are not bound by most things they say, do, or have in their covenants. HOA's have no checks and balances like governments but have the right to use force to steal your home from you with little recourse for you. They don't have to respect the votes of the homeowners if they don't want to. They are essentially a dictatorship once put in place.

    Bonnie Blue Flag

    The first recorded use of the lone star flag dates to 1810. On September 11, 1810 a troop of West Florida dragoons set out for the provincial capitol at Baton Rouge under this flag.
