I think as long as you cover yourself up, it's no big deal. Babies have to eat. I think it's a shame that in our society it's considered "dirty" and "inappropriate" to use a breast for what it's ACTUALLY for.

Before they had bottles and formula that was the only way to feed your baby. I don't understand why some people think it so wrong.

It's not like she's creating the child with the father in public. No one throws a fit when people eat in public.It's the same thing; she's just feeding her rather helpless baby. And it's not like the woman takes off her shirt, and her bra. I don't remember what my mom did with my sister but she tells me she went in a bathroom or covered that shoulder and the baby with a blanket if she had one.

Haha, yeah, a baby is precious when it's in the womb, but the second it comes out, you can go into a feces/urine coated public restroom to feed it, for all I care!

Sometimes you are just stuck and aren't able to get to a private place. As long as you are somewhat covered, it's okay. Breastfeeding is one of the most natural and rewarding activities there is for a woman and child.
