When you think of Chanel No. 5, you probably think of glamorous ladies in long evening gowns. You probably don't think of Brad Pitt. However, that will soon change, as the actor is shooting a commercial for the classic fragrance, E! News reports.

A source tells E! that Pitt will be shooting his first perfume ad in London sometime this week, earning somewhere in the seven-figures. The ad will be released overseas sometime later this year. First of all, we hope Pitt gets a much-needed haircut before the shoot. And we're still not sure where Chanel is going with this. Maybe women think that if they wear Chanel No. 5, they will attract Brad Pitt? Or look more like Angelina Jolie? Hmm... do you think it makes "scents"? (Sorry. We had to.)

Sounds a little weird to me. I love and use Chanel No. 5, but Brad Pitt? I hope Chanel knows what they are doing better than I do.

I don't think Brad Pitt alone in a Chanel ad cuts it. Use Brad Pitt being overwhelmed by a woman's scent of Chanel No. 5 would be more effective.

Let's see what happens. Chanel knows it's market demograghic and what moves them to buy product. Buy Chanel and you will attract men like Brad Pitt is what I'm thinking the message is.

Seeing men on perfume ads, could make people think this perfume was made for gay men. Women might think the perfume is not made for women, not buy it causing sales to drop.

You make great sense. Majority of men and women spray a sample to see if they like the scent. Who would buy perfume that smells like skunk spray just because a famous person is on the box.? There might be a few. LOL!

That's what I do, try it on my wrist at the store, see if I like it and if I do and it doesn't cost a fortune, I buy it. The only celebrity perfume I have is Fancy Love by Jessica Simpson, it is actually very nice.

He used to look clean cut and neat. Since he hooked up with Angeina Jolie, he looks like the bums I see begging for money in the subway. If that's the best haircut he can get, he needs to spend more than $2.00 on one.

I have read the same about him.. That is a definite turn off ! Not to mention the fact that he tarnished his image by getting into a relationship that requires so many babies and children. That is not a sex symbol at all.
