When you think of Chanel No. 5, you probably think of glamorous ladies in long evening gowns. You probably don't think of Brad Pitt. However, that will soon change, as the actor is shooting a commercial for the classic fragrance, E! News reports.

A source tells E! that Pitt will be shooting his first perfume ad in London sometime this week, earning somewhere in the seven-figures. The ad will be released overseas sometime later this year. First of all, we hope Pitt gets a much-needed haircut before the shoot. And we're still not sure where Chanel is going with this. Maybe women think that if they wear Chanel No. 5, they will attract Brad Pitt? Or look more like Angelina Jolie? Hmm... do you think it makes "scents"? (Sorry. We had to.)

Sure, why not? A man promoting a woman's fragrance is not out of line considering ladies frequently buy a scent hoping to attract or appeal to men.

I still won't buy Chanel No. 5 -- it may have worked for Marilyn Monroe, but I think it stinks. I really have tried to force myself to like this perfume, as it is iconic and classic. It smells like cheap soap and grandma and rotting flowers.

Chanel No. 5 has always been one of my favorite perfumes, so I don't need very much enticement to buy it. However, if Brad Pitt is going to be the face of Chanel No. 5, it certainly can't hurt. This guy could convince me to buy a bottle of skunk piss and make me think it'll make me smell heavenly. I loves me some Brad Pitt!
