A 7-year-old boy in Utah led police officers in a car chase because the boy wanted to avoid going to church. The Utah boy took his father's keys, hopped into the Dodge Intrepid and led Weber County Sheriff on a car chase. The tiny driver made it up to 40 mph before the police stopped him. After stopping in a driveway, the Utah mini driver ran inside a home where the cops found him, safe. No charges were issued because the boy was too young to be prosecuted.

yeh,we lived in the country and my parents worked late in their restaurant so i would wake up early on saturday morning and take the old ford station wagon out for a twenty mile thrill ride and get back before they woke up

i did this occasionally for about three years from age 12 to 15

No. I never drove before getting my license, especially not to avoid church.

i dont drive and i dont have a licence. i dont need it (yet).
every important object in my city is near my home, 30 min walking is the longest distance, hospital, police, library, banks, post office, everything! also taxi is very cheap, 1 euro and he will take you everywhere in the city!

my kind of kid.

i drove pretty much everywhere before i got my license. my dad wanted me to wait til i turned 18 and moved to texas before i got it. but i have it now. so no worries.

geez,if i were a cop,id take his fathers lisense away any lock him up for a year,thats a form of child abuse,this kid should go to juvenile court and stay ther til he learns a lesson.

Yeah when I was 14 or cos my dad wanted me to I drove in our paddock at home and ended up going to fast pushed the accelerator instead of the brakes went through the fence and rolled the car on it's side .I'll just say it took me along time to ever want to drive a car again.This year actually when i was 16 I got my learners now

I was driving at age 12 but thats expected when you live in the rural sticks. Its all about ability and not age. Sliding sideways around curves on a sandy dirt road is good practice for driving on wet pavement.
