For the first time since Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom opened four
decades ago, thirsty tourists will soon be able to order a glass of wine or beer
within park boundaries.
According to the Orlando
Sentinel, sales will be limited to dinner hours at the Orlando park's
gourmet, French-themed Be Our Guest restaurant, which opens in November as part
of the park's Fantasyland expansion.
"You cannot walk into a French restaurant and not get a glass of wine or
beer," Disney's Maribeth Bisienere told the Sentinel. "It made more sense to do
it than not to do it."

+1Terrible idea. It's a family/children oriented park. They do not need to be subjected to intoxicated patrons not to mention the dangers of having parents driving their children home drunk. There are plenty of other places to get a drink. Disney should be dry.reply - Steve 2012/09/17 17:28:53

+2Pretty sure he'd be furious about many things. Liquor, the cost to get in, the whole operation has been radically altered from his original vision. Sad, really.reply - kevracer 2012/09/17 17:26:02
