Born on 10/10/10, baby makes 3rd Soper child to arrive on unusual date

GRAND RAPIDS -- For Chad and Barbie Soper, it's all in the numbers.
A triple-dose of rare birth dates for their three children, who were born on 8/8/2008, 9/9/2009 and 10/10/2010.
The Rockford couple's good fortune, capped with Sunday's birth of their daughter, Cearra Nicole, has led to a crush of national and local media attention for the young family.
They plan to appear Saturday morning on NBC's Today Show, already were featured in a USA Today article and the news show Inside Edition has expressed interest in their story.
"It's going crazy," Barbie Soper said Thursday from her home. "I had no idea. I didn't know if you do one little local TV thing, it can go national."

+1LOL! I remember on June 6, 2006 people actually tried to stop labor or have c-sections in advance so their babies wouldn't be born on 06/06/06.reply - Captain... Just Missy 2010/10/19 13:14:28

+1I have seen this happen with planned C-Sections. It would be a miracle if she weren't induced or had a planned C-section.reply - ITALIAN CLICKER 2010/10/16 21:01:32

+1just wait til 11/11/11 and 12/12/12 they are just days nothing special. Since it happened more than once it's likely to have been planned.reply - Mr.Wizzard 2010/10/16 20:21:56
There is nothing very unussual about her beautiful babies birth days since the middlechilds birth was induces a week & a half earlier than expected because of some complications may mother to be can have that done to their Babies today.I was reading where one mother asked to have labor induced at Midnight the 1st day of the New year. Some of these parents today are obsessed with what day they want their babies born on.It's getting totally ridiculous.Look at the OCTO Mom that asked the invitro doctor if she could have Ten Ovories fertilized. What kind of goof do we have in this world today.I see why the End is going to be so Horrific. God the creator can't stand us idiots no more! It's a comming much much sooner then any of us can imagine!reply - Courtne... Mr.Wizzard 2010/10/16 22:03:25
+1No "God the creator" just can not stand idiots like you, who can not spell or be grammatically correct.reply - disgusted 2010/10/16 20:06:58 (edited)
Sounds too coincidental to be unplanned. Carrying three babies each approx. one year apart and having them by C-section would be dangerous for the mother, and the children. Sounds to me like a combo of good math and inducing labor.reply - jasmin 2010/10/16 20:03:55
Very lucky parents, i mean who can every forget those birthdays!! lolreply - steve~pwcm~jla 2010/10/16 19:41:50
